"Personalized, well-balanced workout plans geared toward a healthy balance between efficient stretching and strengthening. DJ is incredibly fit - actually, playing the part of trainer accurately - personable, organized and knowledgeable about nutrition, fitness and health & wellness. Every movement articulated to perfection to ensure you maximize your results and get the most out of every minute of your workout. Ultimately, DJ takes great pride in your results - and, as such, holds himself equally accountable. DJ is the lifting partner you’ve always wanted to achieve the unthinkable. DJ’s approach has worked for me - and, I know it will work for all who are dedicated and results driven.”
-Andrew & Alexandra

"I highly recommend DJ as a trainer and fitness coach! He is attentive, focused, incredibly determined to help you achieve your goals no matter how big or small they are. He takes a comprehensive approach to fitness from warm up, to workout to recovery. Whether you’re just a beginner or expert in the gym, DJ will always go the extra mile to make the workout both challenging and a lot of fun! He’s the absolute best, and I couldn’t recommend him more!"
-Alexandra

"If there were more than 5 stars I would give it to DJ. He understands how to train people. He is patient, friendly and fully explains how to do each exercise properly. He has a personal program for each client and makes it challenging so you really see and feel results. DJ is always flexible and makes it work with my crazy schedule. He’s not only knowledgable about fitness and muscular anatomy but he also has a wealth of knowledge about nutrition. He’s incredibly dedicated and will keep you motivated to achieve your goals!!"

"DJ isn’t your typical Trainer he is much more than that. He is intelligent, encouraging, and kind. He takes your goals and physical needs very seriously. Being a Pilates Teacher, I wanted to add strength training, cardio, & Kinstretch (mobility) into my practice. DJ develops programming specific to what my body needs to achieve my fitness goals. DJ doesn’t only teach you how he explains WHY; why he plans certain exercises, what the movements achieve, & how they will help your body. He listens to your feedback throughout the session making you feel safe while challenged. DJ has helped me build the strength, endurance, & increased mobility/flexibility that I was missing in my training. I find my training with DJ over the past 3 years to be invaluable."
-Jan

"I’ve had the pleasure of training with DJ and couldn’t recommend him enough! He helped me set achievable goals to improve my strength and flexibility. He pushed me harder than I would ever push myself. He invested in my education and gave me the tools I needed to maintain my fitness level long-term. He’s passionate about his work and is always up to date on the latest research. His expertise and knowledge in the gym will get you the results you’ve been looking for! You’re in great hands when you train with DJ."

Let’s Talk → Book a
Discovery Call
We’ll discuss your goals, training history, and roadblocks. If it’s a fit, we’ll move forward with a movement assessment.

Let’s Assess → Schedule a Movement Assessment
We assess how you move, identify strengths and imbalances, and create a custom plan built around your body, goals, and real-life demands.

Let’s Get Busy → Start Training on Your Goals
From here, we get to work with a plan that takes you from where you are to where you want to be.

I don’t use a one-size-fits-all system - your program is built around your goals, lifestyle, and current capacity. This is a collaborative process where I guide you at a pace that makes sense, adjusting based on your feedback so the training supports your life and doesn't compete with it. If you’re someone who wants to understand the why behind your training, I encourage questions and want you to take ownership of your progress. And if we’re not the right fit, I’ll tell you upfront but if we are, you’ll get a clear plan, consistent support, and a coach who genuinely cares about helping you succeed.
Not at all. I coach clients both locally and worldwide. If you’re not in NYC, you can still work with me through online 1-on-1 coaching or remote programming - both delivered through the Coach RX app. You’ll still get personalized training, regular check-ins, video feedback, and all the accountability you need from wherever you are.
That depends on your schedule, consistency, and training experience. If you’re more experienced in the gym and familiar with equipment, remote programming might be a great fit. You’ll have a structured plan, video feedback, and support - without needing to meet in person. If you’re new to training or need more technical guidance, in-person coaching may be the better route. You’ll get hands-on feedback, live answers to questions, and more direct instruction. At the end of the day, choose the option that supports the most consistency in your life. That’s where you’ll get the best results.
Yes - so long as you’ve been cleared for exercise, we can definitely build a safe and effective program. I’ve spent years working in physical therapy clinics and have helped many clients train around pain and return to doing what they love. I’ve also dealt with injuries myself, so I understand the mental and emotional challenges that come with it. If you’re currently working with a physical therapist, I’ll coordinate with them to make sure we’re working as a team, avoiding confusion, and staying on the same page.
That depends on your goals. If you’re focused on general strength, mobility, and overall health, you don’t need much - resistance bands, a yoga mat, a few kettlebells, and a pull-up bar can go a long way. If your goals are more body composition-focused (like building muscle), access to free weights and machines might be more beneficial. Either way, your equipment will never be a limitation because your plan will be built around what you have.
We start with a discovery call. It’s a no-pressure conversation where I’ll learn about your training history, goals, and challenges. From there, we’ll decide if working together makes sense. If I’m not the right fit, I’ll still point you in the right direction with a referral that better suits your needs. If we are a good fit, we’ll move forward with the movement assessment and get to work.
